Genetically-encoded fluorescent biosensors
- Direct expression in cells
- No exogenous chemical compounds or cofactors required
- High selectivity and sensitivity
Evrogen genetically-encoded fluorescent biosensors are complex chimeric proteins combining a fluorescent protein (FP) and a sensor protein (SP) fused in a specific way. They demonstrate clearly detectable changes in fluorescence in response to a cell event of interest, which causes conformational changes of SP due to binding or reaction with a target molecule.
Evrogen biosensors allow real in vivo measuring signals in natural intracellular surround as well as precise targeting into various subcellular compartments or animal tissues.
Evrogen offers genetically-encoded fluorescent indicators for monitoring changes in intracellular concentration of important molecules, including calcium ions (Ca2+) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
